# Tracker case submission template

Copy this file, fill every bracket, and email it to samizdat@aeviterna.org with the subject line "Tracker case submission". Read the codebook (`tracker-codebook.md`) first, so the scale and the rules are clear before you code.

The one hard rule: every code, high or low, must cite a resolving public source URL. A claim without a source cannot be entered. The instrument reads institutions from public records and codes no persons.

## The case

Name: [the organization's name]

Founded: [year]

Status: [active, declining, dissolved, or a short phrase such as "active, subsidy-dependent"]

Trajectory: [two or three sentences on what the organization is and how it has fared, including any decline, suspension, or death, which are coded as data rather than omitted]

Sources: [list two or more resolving URLs that establish the case and its trajectory]

---

## The codes

Code only the dimensions for which you have documentable evidence. Leave the rest out. Not-coded is a real state and is better than a guess.

For each dimension you code, give the score, your confidence, one line of evidence, and the source URL that backs it.

Score is 0 (absent, or present and failed), 1 (partial or informal), or 2 (present and load-bearing).

Confidence is low, medium, or high.

| Dimension | Score | Confidence | One-line evidence | Source URL |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [dimension name from the codebook] | [0, 1, or 2] | [low/medium/high] | [what the evidence shows] | [url] |
| [dimension name] | [0, 1, or 2] | [low/medium/high] | [what the evidence shows] | [url] |
| [dimension name] | [0, 1, or 2] | [low/medium/high] | [what the evidence shows] | [url] |
| [add rows as needed] | | | | |

The twenty dimensions are: Adaptive stability, Cognitive sovereignty, Cognitive ecology, The justice of light, The knowledge commons, Decaying standing, The dignity floor, Reversibility and exit, Anti-capture, Vital-signs review, Automated decisions, The more-than-human, The transition engine, The consent layer, Calibrated decay, The container rule, The visible substrate, The fork protocol, Friction and the cascade, The thin spine.

## Optional: the governance cost anchor

Only if the organization publishes its governance and administration cost. Give the annual governance cost per member or per person and the source. Leave this out if no public figure exists.

Governance cost: [figure per member or per person per year, with the year]

Source: [url]

## What happens next

The maintainer checks that the case is a real institution with a public record, that every code carries a resolving source, and that the anchored scale is applied. The case is then accepted into the next quarterly version, returned to you for revision, or declined with a reason. Every outcome is recorded in the public adjudication log on the tracker page, so you can see where your submission stands.
